The Purpose of Your Role:

This new position offers a highly motivated individual the opportunity to learn the retirement plan service and sales support roles and be a critical contributor in servicing our financial advisor partners and external retirement plan wholesale sales team.

Filling this critical role is an integral part of Retirement Plan Services growth plan.  The successful candidate is expected to provide service excellence with every interaction on a daily basis.

What you'll bring to Sentinel:
  • Relationship Management: Candidates should excel in building and maintaining strong relationships with our external advisor partners and internal wholesale sales team. Effective communication skills, empathy, and the ability to understand clients' unique needs are crucial for success in this role.
  • Data Analysis and Decision Support: Given the complexity of retirement plan design and pricing, candidates should be proficient in data analysis and able to interpret and present complex information in a clear and actionable manner.
What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Review investment availability on different platforms.
  • Prepare mutual fund share-class comparison report.
  • Periodic review and control (QC) of model rebalancing and other automated STP jobs
  • Periodically provide fee reports to advisors  
  • Contact Management maintenance
  • Periodically upload advisor’s factsheets and deliverables to our Website
  • Review Quarterly Investment Files to ensure fund balances are accurate
  • Send Quarterly invoice file for processing, notify advisor when ACH has been released
  • Process individual advisory invoices
  • Recurring Advisory Fee payments set up
  • Process fund changes and ensure necessary documentation is complete
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects
  • Interact/support advisor partner relationships
  • Support external wholesale sales team

Preferred qualifications:
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in a service role preferred but willing to train
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and overall ability to learn and use different software packages. 
Nice to haves:
  • Familiarity with defined contribution and defined benefits retirement plans
